INTO THE GREEN includes most of the tracks from Petit traité POP du jardin botanique, an opera dedicated to gardening and pop music. A few additional songs from other projects round out the collection.
The artistic team notably includes Irish singer Cathal Coughlan (formerly of Fatima Mansions and Microdisney) and guitarist, keyboardist, and arranger Dave Gregory (formerly of XTC and Big Big Train). Some of the lyrics were written by English poet and songwriter Martin Newell.
